OFPOD -- Who can crack a one-time pad before it's used?

Kids are cute, right? Today's OFPOD has one, and a rather young someone else. Here's Bruce Schneier with our daughter Megen, from Midwestcon 1984. I suspect Bruce was trying to teach her how to encrypt the name badge she's holding, thus accounting for Megen's somewhat bemused look.

We didn't know when this skinny young kid started hanging around that we'd become good friends. But I'm glad it turned out that way.

I really liked seeing that photo of you from back then -- the one Steve posted yesterday or the day before. Thirty years ago was a surprisingly long time.
