If Israel wished to pursue the best possible strategy to damage their already shaky international reputation, as well as do everything possible to strip away what little support they have in the Middle East, then they couldn't have come up with a better plan than to raid civilian relief ships in international waters and kill nine (at least) of those aboard.

I really don't understand why this country's position on Israel has always been "support them no matter what." I don't think they've earned unconditional support, and this just proves it.

I'm with you on that. "Support no matter what" isn't a position anyone should take in regards to a country, whether it another country or your own. Wrong is wrong.

Call me cynical, but I think it's domestic politics. AIPAC has a lot of U.S. politicians in the same pocket where it keeps its wallet.
