Orson joins BOD for National Organization for Marriage

According to this report, Orson Scott Card has joined the Board of Directors for the National Organization for Marriage, the group that brought out the much-mocked and parodied "Gathering Storm" ad.

Color me unfortunately not surprised.

In fact, I've never been to that site before (at least that I can recall) -- it's certainly not one of the sites I check regularly. Another friend had mentioned the Card connection to the Gathering Storm video in an e-mail; I googled it and that was one of the sites that came up with the news...
