... and I'm such a sucker for peer pressure, I've opened a Twitter account. You can follow me at sleighwriter if you're so inclined. Or if you're really, really bored. (ETA: try going to http://twitter.com/sleighwriter if a search doesn't show sleighwriter, as a couple people have indicated. I'm there, honest. I already have a few people following me...)

There's been a large "Twitter, yes or no" discussion on one of the writers' groups to which I belong, and the majority seem to feel that twittering has worked for them, so I'm dipping my toes in the water-- and we'll see whether I like or hate it.

Hmm... Anyone interested in what I had for dinner? :-)

Good post; well worth reading. I don't see myself posting tweets to LJ (and I don't read twitterings posted here, either.)
