Welcome to another in the Pandemic World Basement Tapes series -- a tune made popular by the Byrds this time (hence the appearance of my 12-string), even though the song was actually written by Bob Dylan: "My Back Pages"

As usual, this is a first-take, no-post-production fixing of mistakes recording. The ‘big’ mistake in this one is that after the third verse’s chorus my foot missed the Harmony Singer pedal’s switch and so I had to play the intro twice while I fumbled with turning it off. Useless additional information: I’m using my dynamic stage mic this time (hence the foam blocking the lower half of my face since you have to be practically eating a dynamic mic to get decent fidelity). What I’ve discovered is that the Harmony pedal doesn’t like it when I’m using my condenser mic as it’s not just hearing my voice alone but also the guitar—it gets confused about what note it’s supposed to harmonize with and a confused pedal just makes for an auditory mess. I prefer the fuller sound of a condenser mic, but dynamic mics don’t pick up as much background and thus play better with the harmony pedal. So…
