Another in the series of Pandemic World Basement Tapes (and I do believe I show my advanced age by calling them 'tapes' when there's absolutely no tape involved...) This one's by one of our greatest songwriters, Paul Simon: "American Tune", which seems rather apropos for Memorial Day, especially since it'll be a strange one this year for those of us in the States. If you live elsewhere, heck, it's probably just another day!
Again, I've started recording the intros separate from the songs, but the songs are still literal "First Takes", so be aware that I can guarantee there will be mistakes, potentially of all sizes and shapes, in them.
