It's a novel (sorta)

 If I write my 500 words today (and I intend to do more than that), the new novel will actually -be- a novel, since I'll pass the 40,000 word level in the draft. Yay! It's now officially a novel (even though that means I'm maybe a third of the way, give or take 10,000 words or so, to the actual finish line.

Getting there, though, and making good progress!
