I've been playing the Seagull Artist Studio guitar I picked up in January every day. I don't think I've missed playing her for a least a few minutes any day thus far. Something about that guitar and the way she feels and the way she sounds draws me to her -- I wish I were a better guitarist to do her justice... but hey, if I keep practicing, I'll get a little better each day, right?
But I've done something with this instrument that I've never done with any of my other basses or guitars: I've given her a name. Since I've used her to learn several Irish tunes, an Irish name seemed appropriate, so she's Mháire (the Gaelic is pronounced [roughly] Why-ra).
If you play, do you name your instruments? I do a ton of work on my laptop, but I've never named a computer, either, and don't plan to -- do you give your computer a name?

The computers have names, too, but those are almost exclusively for the network -- it's easier to remember that the computer in the den is Radagast rather than the model number.
