MBP: This is my favorite of the "flying sparrow" sequence. I don't know what maneuver has caused the contortions of the bird in the air, but it's interesting. And gee, if I crop _really_ close and do just a little manipulation of the image parameters, I can get something approaching abstract art -- like an avian version of Marcel Duchamp's "Nude Descending A Staircase, No.2"

Funny, but it reminded *me* of a particular illustration (http://retrocollage.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2011/01/AWeekOfKindness.jpg) in Max Ernst's "A Week of Kindness."

I hit your link but got an "Access Denied" error. But I googled Max Ernst and a week of kindness and saw several illustrations with bird-like characters. Is that what you meant?

The closeup looks like a cover illustration. I think the book would an anthology, but I can't decide what the theme of the anthology would be.
