MBP: The goldfinches have been active at the feeder recently. They seem to like the thistle feeder best, and are around the feeder early, before the morning crush of house finches and sparrows. Here's one I caught yesterday.

Yeah, mine too -- they tend not to be around for the bulk of the day, but before and after the main feeding frenzies.

the only ones who are there consistantly thru the day are the jays and the mourning doves..
