Best Editor Ever

OK, I officially have the Best Editor Ever. A small box just arrived on my porch, and in it was a Victorian stick pin with a cameo head, with a lovely note from Sheila saying she'd seen this in London and thought it would be a perfect gift for the launch of IMMORTAL MUSE. She's right, it is -- since a cameo figures heavily in the book. I'll have to wear it to all the launch/promotional events.

I agree. She'd mentioned awhile back that while she and Betsy were in London for World Fantasy, she'd found something while shopping she thought I'd like, and that she'd send it along later. I'd nearly forgotten about the comment... now I know! I was gobsmacked.
