What is wrong with DAW Books?! I received the galleys for IMMORTAL MUSE on Thursday, 9/19, and the cover letter said I had to have any corrections back to then by October 22.
October 22! Good grief, Charlie Brown, that's over a month away! Don't they understand that authors are supposed to have no more than a week to get the corrections in -- and preferably less? Can't they see how that leaves me no room to carp and complain and bitch, which is right -- nay, my obligation -- as an author?
Doesn't DAW understand how publishing works?
I'm appalled. Simply appalled.
