OFPOD - Got a dime?

Maia Cowan is today's OFPOD, from Minicon 1980. This *may* be the Minicon where Maia most gently rebuked me for an unfortunate remark regarding dimes and a certain pair of pants, which proved to me that I occasionally need a filter between my brain and my mouth and/or fingers. Alas, I still sometimes bypass that filter...

Maia's a fantastic person and a great photographer (she posts daily pictures on LJ.)

Huh. I thought it was a Spacecon where I gently rebuked you about that remark. Not that I was ever seriously annoyed with you.

Hmm... My memory -- which could well be faulty given the 3-decade-plus gap -- was that a group of us were sitting on the steps leading up to the Minicon consuite when that "rebuke" conversation took place.

But you might well be right.

And yeah, I knew you weren't seriously annoyed, but it was still an error in judgment on my part. :-)
