This Friday, Flywheel will be playing the guest slot with "Silk N' Suede" (Stan Hertzman and Nancy Egan) at Awakenings Coffee and Wine in Hyde Park Square (2734 Erie Avenue). Silk N' Suede with will start at 8:30, we'll do the middle set from about 9:30 to 10:15, then Stan and Nancy will end the night with their last set.
This will be Flywheel's debut in our "acoustic" mode -- and it will also be the debut of Tom Vogel's incredible Suitcase Drum Set, which you'll just have to see to believe! In fact, Steve, Dale, and Chris are jealous as can be at Tom's success. Steve and Dale are working on Carry-On Suitcase guitars, and Chris is developing the Packing Crate Bass -- but for Friday, they'll have to be content with their regular acoustic instruments.
We'd love to see some of you there, but come early -- Stan and Nancy pack the house, and seats will be limited. Enjoy the wine, the coffee, and the music of Silk N' Suede and Flywheel!
