The Nessantico Cycle (A Magic of Twilight, A Magic of Nightfall, and A Magic of Dawn) is being published in Brazil. I noticed on Google Analytics that a full 30% of the hits on my website this month came from Brazil.

Boa vinda, leitores brasileiros! I hope you love the books and spread the word! And obrigado!

My web site host mails me details on who is looking every night. Do you have to have a google login to see these Analytics?

And, yes, Congrats on your Brazilian boost!

Yeah, you have to have a google login to use google analytics, but it's free. You can see on a city level where people who hit the site came from, what browser they were using, what language their computer was using, how many pages on the site they visited (and which ones), how many of them were new visitors or returning, how they entered the site (in other words, did they come directly to your site or were they referred to the site via a search engine or an outside link, which page did they enter through), how long they stayed, etc. Pretty comprehensive report if you want to try to figure out how people are interacting with the site and what's pulling them in.

For instance, in the past, the top three 'entry' points to the site were the 'home' page (www.farrellworlds.com) at 22%, the "S.L. Farrell" page ( /slfarrell,html) at 13%, and the "Blog" page (/blog.html) at 10%. Now suddenly this last month, with 30% of the visitors coming from Brazil, that's changed to: S.L. Farrell page at 21%, the 'home' at 17%, and the "Magic of Twilight" page (/nessantico1.html) at 8%. The blog page is now 4th -- all of which suggests that the Brazilians are coming in wanting to find out more about "S.L. Farrell" and the Nessantico books.
