With all but a couple of my backlist novels now reverted, I'm starting to put them together to place online. CRYSTAL MEMORY and THE BONES OF GOD have come back from Blue Leaf Scanning -- which I can now highly recommend. Both scans were very clean and I've been having to do minimal editing to bring them up to speed.
I'm almost finished with CRYSTAL MEMORY at this point, which will be the first backlist novel up -- with (by permission of A.C. Farley, the talented artist) one of my favorite covers of all time: the SF Book Club cover. It's interesting reading the book for the first time in over twenty years. Time has scrubbed away most of my memories of the actual writing, and I'm almost -- almost -- able to read it as if it were someone else's work.
And while it's not written in quite the way I'd write it today, I'm finding I still like the book. Whew! I'm not horribly tempted to re-write it…
I should have the book up live online sometime early next week. I'll let you know!
