The Crystal Memory of Bones.

I received the reversion notices for my novels BONES OF GOD and CRYSTAL MEMORY today -- I'll be sending the books out to be scanned in the next few days. Once I get the scans back, I'll have to proof them *sigh* and put the files in Scrivener preparatory to converting them to Kindle and ePub format, and getting them out to Amazon, B&N, Apple, Kobobooks, and ePW. I'll also need to put together covers. I can't do worse than the original cover for BONES myself, but I have hopes for something far better for CRYSTAL MEMORY. We'll see!

Hopefully, I'll have both novels available by the end of August if all goes well.

If you want help proofing, let me know. I have a lot of experience proofing character recognition scans (for Subterranean Press). One of my favorite scan errors: "He crossed his anus and leaned back."

I won't be available for new projects until around Bubonicon, however. Moving + Baby + Renovation Art Project + Scanning old photos before moving is driving me a little insane right now. Brian is being amazingly calm and understanding. :)

(Though I've promised both of us I won't work on any more cons for at least a year...)

After Bubonicon I should be able to get a book proofed in a week to ten days. I will have spare time! I *will*! yay!
