World Fantasy Con

Anyone going to WFC? I'll be there -- after all, it's in Columbus, which is only a two hour drive away. Sweetening the pot is the fact that the DAW Books folks will be there also, and it'll be wonderful to see Sheila, Betsy, and anyone else who's coming along (Marsha? Debra? Josh?). I'm also looking forward to reconnecting with friends I haven't seen in far too long: Mr. David B. Coe, I'm looking at you -- let's have that beer!

I'll be part of a mass signing at the Barnes & Noble OSU Campus Bookstore (1598 N. High Street) on Saturday from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM -- where you'll have a chance to win a Nook and B&N gift cards. Thanks to Cheryl (C.L.) Wilson for putting this event together and handling the logistics! Here's a (possibly partial) list of attendees): Ari Berk, Beth Bernobich, C.L. This should be a fun event -- how often do you see this many sf/fantasy authors gathered in one place without being offered free food? If you're going to WFC or if you live in the Columbus area, you should check it out!

At the moment, I don't know if I'm scheduled for a reading or panel -- stay tuned. Otherwise, I'll be there as of Thursday evening sometime. Say 'hi' if you see me!

For some reason I only just today realized it's in Columbus.
but it's still beyond us at the moment. Have fun and keep an eye out for Moonshine author Alaya Dawn Johnson (http://www.alayadawnjohnson.com/?page_id=2), who is very cool and fairly new to things so I hope everyone welcomes her nicely.
