This Friday (May 7), I'll be signing A MAGIC OF DAWN (out in hardcover last month) and A MAGIC OF NIGHTFALL (out in mm paperback in March) and probably A MAGIC OF TWILIGHT also at the Barnes & Noble in West Chester (just off Union Centre) from 7:30 - 8:30. Stop by if you can, and we can chat!
Then, this Saturday (May 8) TOAST! will be playing at DeSha's (11320 Montgomery Road/Harper’s Point) from 7:30 -11:00. We're not actually at DeSha's, mind you, but at the oddly-named "Place Next Door" which is the bar area within the restaurant. And we're going to be *shhh* quiet, too! Honest! This probably means that Steve should be singing without a microphone, and that we'll have to put Dale outside. SG promises he'll be playing with a trombone mute jammed into his Iwi and sax, and Tom Vogel's going to be using actual drumsticks. From a turkey.
Rick's bringing an accordion (two of them. if he leaves his car open), and Russel's going to be limited to the Bermuda Triangle. Tom Steele... well, Tom's bringing his entire Cat Stevens playlist.
Seriously, since this is a new venue for Toast!, we'd love to make a (false) impression on the owners that we're a really incredibly popular group with a huge following -- so we'd love y'all to come out on Saturday! It's an early night too: -- you could get home in time to see Saturday Night Live and fall asleep!
