My stint as double GoH at Millennicon is over... and it was a wonderful experience. My thanks to Christy, to Cheryl, to Lisa, and to the entire Millennicon concom for a lovely weekend. If you haven't been to a Millennicon, you should go! You'll experience an exceptional convention with some great and friendly people running it.

And hey, since Scalzi gave it his all at the karaoke on Saturday night, and now I've followed suit and made a fool of myself, it's now a tradition that all future GoHs must also show up at karoke. Mr. Sawyer, that means you!

Thanks again, all!

Here's Steve & Mark performing at the Music GoH concert...

And here's the dreaded Karoke picture (both pics by Denise).

that karaoke shot looks like you were SERIOUSLY rocking whatever song you were performing!!

I think I was more seriously undermining any conception that I'm actually a musician. :-)

I don't get the point of you doing karoke; you can -- and do -- actually sing.

There's a point to karoke?

Actually, the guy running the karoke was the person who brought in, set up, and ran the sound system for the concert Mark and I did. He did a yeoman's job, was a nice guy all around, and asked me if I'd please, please come to the karoke he was running that night. So I said sure, I'd drop in. Glad we did, since when we got there, he was all alone. I'd dragged down about five people from the CFG party, and Denise went out and made a general announcement that brought in some more folk, and we had fun making fun of people trying to sing who generally don't.

Joel's turn at the mic (http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?pid=186187&id=1693611333) was just priceless...
