You've been waiting for this for a month! The snow's melting (though some of the piles are threatening to last until May), and the temperatures are beginning to hint that Spring might actually come sometime this century. You're ready to break free of the winter doldrums, the lack of Vitamin D, and the Seasonal Affective Disorder caused by the fact that the only light your body has seen in the last two months has been from a fluorescent bulb.
In short, you're ready to go and have a great time! And where better to do that than at the College Hill Coffee Company at the corner of North Bend and Hamilton, where there's always great food, great company, fantastic company, and -- this Saturday evening -- music from the Davis Leigh Duo.
Last time, Mark and Steve startled long-time listeners by doing lots of tunes none of them had heard the Duo do before (a few of which Mark and Steve actually practiced beforehand, going against all logic and past experience); they're ready to repeat that performance Saturday. You never know what song they'll pull out of their hats (even though neither of them wear hats.) So come out and hear Mark & Steve wail away at songs most guitar duos would only shake their heads at doing... and for good reason! Watch them pass chord sheets across to each other and say "Here, let's try this..." Witness Steve trying to decide whether to play bass or guitar. Hear Mark's fantastic new Agile guitar sound like three instruments at once, all playing in different keys!
