The Right & Torture

Read this. Andrew Sullivan of The Atlantic responds to the calls from the right to torture the Christmas Underpants Bomber and any other terror suspects that we manage to snatch. I'm still amazed at how many people still don't seem to get that there's no such thing as doing Bad Things For A Good Reason, that doing Bad Things means, hey, you're one of the Bad People and no better than any of them.

So true. How can these people not see that what they're doing (or calling for) is evil? As evil as the things they are afraid of? It's scary how bloodthirsty they have become.

i don't know how to say this delicately, but the guy set his own balls on fire - pain is probably not the way to get to him. I recommend trying to bribe him with Tastykake Butterskotch Krimpets.
