It's Dangerous To Expose Kids To The President

When it's considered a horrible thing for your child to have to listen to the president tell him or her that they should stay in school and get a good education, when you'd rather pull your kids from the classroom than let them hear the current president speak, when it's controversial to have the president talk to school kids about the value of a good education, something is seriously wrong.

Strange how when Reagan or Bush Sr. or Bush Jr. talked to school children, no one was howling bloody murder about 'indoctrination'

My daughters' school district, here in the heart of Obama country, has caved to to these assholes and announced that they would not be showing the speech. I sent a letter letting them know what I think of their alleged membership in the phylum Chordata. I also informed them that I would be pulling my daughters from school about fifteen minutes before the speech, taking them home to hear it, and returning them to school about fifteen minutes after the speech was over.

And it isn't about the speech as much as about their sheer fugheadedness.

You have to be kidding me. D97 (Grade/Middle schools) kids are all going to watch, with the middle schools planning further activities after the speech -talking about it, and such.

D200 (high school) is going to run the speech live in the main auditorium.
