I got an invite from someone else but how do I find you over there? For that matter, how do I find anybody, other than slowly and laboriously going through the listings of journals. Even then I have problems since people use very entertaining or amusing or unusual titles which are totally useless in identifying who's who. I'm there simply as gsmattingly. Admittedly my livejournal name is meaningless also. What was I thinking? I'm trying to get a feel of how things are over there or how people expect them to be over there or some clue. Maybe it is just because I'm not part of the cognoscenti. Maybe it is because I am frequently clueless. Am I having fun yet?
I'm there under the same username. I find Dreamwidth to essentially be LJ, just under another name -- it a refuge in case LJ goes *boom* at some point, or if the occasional fuckwittery of the Powers-That-Be gets worse. Mostly, I'm just mirroring stuff over there that I'm doing here. Right now, most of my friends list isn't there or hasn't found me, one or the other...
