I was pointed to a very positive review of A MAGIC OF NIGHTFALL by Liviu C. Suciu on the Fantasy Book Critic site. Liviu had some very nice things to say about the book -- however, be aware that there are some serious spoilers for the book in the review. Here's the "money quote":
