According the CNN, several McCain campaign aides are saying the Palin has "gone rogue."

Is that a typo, or did you just refer to her as "the Palin"? I like it.

Honestly, it was a typo, but hey, I'll leave it...

Okay, I just watched the video on your last post, and was about to post a reply saying "That's the funniest thing I've seen in a while", but then I saw this and had to correct myself. THIS is the funniest thing I've seen in a while. :D

Hee hee hee... Sounds to us like these unnamed 'aides' are trying to distance themselves now, in order to save their own "Republican strategist" careers. "Oh no, it wasn't us that designed a losing campaign, it was that Palin woman going off-message."

Rats leaving a sinking ship? (no offense to rats...)

One can only hope.

Although I must admit, Marcianne in the video is a close runner up for funniest thing. "I stood in live for five hours with an arthritic hip and that @#*$@ couldn't get his lazy *&# out of bed?!" But the campaign finding Palin to be a total pain in the ass is just even funnier.

If they pick an inexperienced person no one has heard of and (apparently) don't bother to vet her then they shouldn't really be surprised when she starts talking 'off-message'. Especially if she basically disagrees with a lot of McCain's platform.

Her selection was just a stunt that went wrong. On the other hand, it's made the whole process a lot more amusing from this side of the Atlantic. :)
