I have back the manuscript for A MAGIC OF NIGHTFALL from my third First Reader (![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
tshaile), and have started going through it. As happened before, there is an overlap between the mistakes that Don caught and those that Denise and Justin caught, but still -- having gone through the first two sections of the book now -- Don's also caught mistakes that the other two missed.... just as Denise caught mistakes Justin missed and Justin caught mistakes Denise missed. (And minnehaha B is nodding his head and saying "See, I told you so!")
And all three of them did a better job of proofing the manuscript that me, who has simply read it too many times. I know what it's supposed to say. :-)
Sheila will give me her editorial notes in Denver -- which means I'll start the final editorial polishing on my return.
And probably put more mistakes back in. But hey, in the end, this should be the cleanest manuscript I've ever produced.
