Unbundling...

At the suggestion of my friend Mark, who works for a large chain bookstore, I've 'unbundled' two short stories from my ebook short story collections, A RAIN OF PEBBLES and A TAPESTRY OF TWO TALES and put the stories out as $.99 ebooks, the idea being that since so many people look for $.99 (or less) titles for their Kindles, Nooks, etc., one way to drive sales is to have some offerings at a low price that will cause the reader -- if they like the story -- to look up more of your work.

So, as part of the continuing experiment in the ebook world, "When We Come Down" (from A RAIN OF PEBBLES) and "The Gods of Every Other Wednesday Night" (from A TAPESTRY OF TWELVE TALES) are now available for $.99 from Amazon and B&N (and possibly eventually Apple and Kobobooks as well; we'll see how it goes...). Both stories are novelette length. Next week, I might offer one more story from each collection.
