Huh...

I really haven't vanished from the blogophere; it just seems that way... I'm in mid-semester full swing at this point, with lots of student work to read and critique every week, my own novel to write, music (sometimes) on the weekends, aikido (usually) three times a week, and making sure that Denise and I connect often enough. And then there's the rest of life...

The good news, I guess, is that nothing has impinged on me enough to make me sit down and write a post. I'm sure you don't want to hear about my continuing issues with plantar fasciaitis; heck, I don't want to hear about it. The bad news is that I haven't taken the hour or two recently that it takes to write something worth reading (as you can tell from reading this).

I really need to shoehorn that in somehow. Real Soon Now (as Bill used to say).
