Mark Yon at SFFWORLD has put up an in-depth review of A MAGIC OF TWILIGHT. It's an interesting review which talks about the complexity of the book and some of the issues involved in that, but on the whole is very positive. Here's the final summation: "Secure in its own Renaissance-style environment, this novel was a pleasant surprise, and one which deserves greater recognition."
