I'm "finished" with my revisions for my WILD CARDS story for the second Tor volume, BUSTED FLUSH -- with "finished" in parentheses because one is never done with a WILD CARDS story until the book's typeset. Given that your story has to mesh with all the others as seamlessly as possible, and given that most people's stories are broken into segments that must be fitted together like jigsaw puzzle pieces (by the long-suffering George RR Martin), there are always tweaks and fiddles to be made to ensure continuity, consistency, and flow. Mine is in three parts, which will be widely separated in the book.

But for the time being, I'm done!

Now -- back to the novel that I haven't been working on for a couple weeks while I've been in WILD CARDS land. I think I'm going to need to do some reading to get back up to speed...
