Japanese minister commits suicide after being linked to political scandal. Interesting how other cultures react to being shamed and dishonored. Why, over here the president would be saying that "I have incredible confidence in Mr. Abe, and he's doing a great job."
New UK proposal gives police absolute "stop and interrogate" powers. [sarcasm] It's nice to see other countries doing their bit to stop terrorism by harassing innocent citizens. [/sarcasm] Evidently, Bush Disease has spread to our allies. Hey, we're in Iraq so the terrorists don't follow us home. If they haven't followed us home yet because we're in Iraq, then we don't need draconian abrogations of civil liberties in our countries, right?

On the other hand, BBC (the network) does this show called Panorama which just did the worst show ever on the dangers of Wi-Fi. Bad Science (the website) really tore into them for the amazing crap they're passing off as evidence based science.
