Six days until AMID THE CROWD OF STARS is unleashed upon the reading world. Today, I’m giving you a tease: my image of what the arracht, the primary alien in the book, looks like. I borrowed heavily from the appearance of Glaucus atlanticus, the ‘blue dragon’ sea slug, though the actual blue dragon’s only about an inch long (but has a dangerous sting should you step on one or handle it), while the arracht is more the size of a Great White shark and therefore isn’t a slug at all, possessing a definite skeleton inside.
