It's been awhile, I know, but while I'm putting together a few sets of material for a video quasi-concert, I thought I'd pass this along. This is an original tune I finished writing yesterday: The Daughter of Daire Dá Doss. The lyrics are loosely based on an ancient Irish poem from 1175 (yes, the 12th century!) entitled “Creide’s Lament for Cael” -- I took the basic idea of the poem (Creide was a woman lamenting her husband Cael who died in battle) and placed my own images and words in the song.

As always, let me know what you think and I'll see you again sometime hopefully not too long from now.
