 The latest Pandemic World Basement tape song is one by the band Incubus: “Drive”, from their 2000 album “Make Yourself”. I’ve always liked this song and used to play it in a band I was in awhile back. So here’s my acoustic version of it.

 

I wish I’d run through it a few more times before pushing RECORD as it’s been some time since I last played it… but I didn’t. So here it is, in a rather raw form. I also wished I’d tuned up the 12-sting a little better, but I didn’t do that either. That last “A” chord really wants to be overdubbed, but true to the “First Take” mandate I’ve given myself, it won’t be.
