Another Pandemic World Basement tape... A Richard Thompson tune this time around — "Long Silken Hair," which captured me the very first time I heard it and has never let me go since. Let me know what you think (if my version doesn't grab you, then try the original!)
As always, this is a first take recording with no post production done at all, which means all my mistakes are still there to enjoy. Frankly, if I were to do this again, aside from recording guitar and vocal separately so I could tweak or overdub them as needed, I'd definitely bring the guitar up in the mix a bit...
