Another of the Great One has gone. Ursula LeGuin's "Left Hand of Darkness" was a book that stunned and utterly impressed me: fantastic writing. But then her books and stories were always like that. I've loved reading LeGuin for a long time, and I will enjoy going back and reading her again, getting more from each reading. She had touched and shaped many of us in the genre, and she'll be deeply missed.
