Summer

Ah, summer... Things have been moving along nicely with the novel since I don't have lessons to prepare and student manuscripts to read and critique (and the university administrivia and politics to deal with). As of a few minutes ago, I finished drafting out Part One (of three) of A FADING SUN, the novel-in-progress. Denise has read it (and made a few corrections) and tells me that it mostly flows along nicely. Good to hear!

Now on to Part Two, which should be rather longer. My hope is to get the first draft done this summer (or at least have the great bulk of it finished) before school starts back up again...
