Yeah, I know, it's been awhile. The truth is that the MBP will no longer be daily. I'll still post bird pics when I get something I think is worth looking at, but every day.... No, I have become Weary and Tired of doing that after many months.

But we had our first significant snow of the year yesterday, so here's a few shots of the birds in the snow...

I was just thinking this morning that I hadn't seen a Morning Bird Pic in a while... Completely understand about not wanting to do it Every Day.

Back in 2010, I committed to a "Project 365", one new photo every day, any subject, and only sheer stubbornness kept me at it the entire year. I took a lot of interior shots during the cold months, too, you betcha. But I did enjoy the end result (https://www.flickr.com/photos/maiac/sets/72157625598402791).

Thought you might appreciate this story (http://www.ctvnews.ca/sci-tech/birds-drunk-on-fermented-berries-get-help-sobering-up-1.2106300) about FWI (flying while intoxicated) Canadian birds :->

We put up a second birdfeeder, with (preshelled) sunflower seeds, and the birds discovered it almost instantly. Now we're getting a steady stream of cardinals and jays. I got the bird guidebook out the other day and showed R how to look something up in it.

Birdwatching can be fun, and your pictures have been great. But I can definitely see how every day can get tedious.

:-)

I like the way the "calendars" turned out. I'd tried to get a variety of photos so there wouldn't be a sequence of pretty much the same thing.
