Well, Scotland didn't vote for independence -- which would have been far and away the most interesting result, though whether it would have been the best one I'll leave to others to argue about. The BBC has a great series of maps about the results. (I love maps!)

I'm relieved by the vote. It didn't seem likely that disentangling from the UK would go as well as the proponents thought it would.
