Just as with photography, I like birds with lots of color, but I also have an affection for B&W. One of my favorite birds to watch is the Carolina Chickadee: a small gray bird that will swoop down on the feeder, grab a single seed, and take off to eat it elsewhere -- unlike the many birds that will sit on the feeder and stuff themselves as if it were an all-you-can-eat buffet. Here's a chickadee staring at the feeder as if to say "What the hell is THAT?"
