You know what's going on around the feeder? Sex. And lots of it. Why, just the other day I heard a commotion in the tree next to the deck, and swung my camera around just in time to catch a male house finch looking guilty and a female house finch still fluttering her wings afterward. Gads! Get a room!

It's fun watching two male blackbirds trying to impress the girl. Not so different from some men, in fact. :-)
