Yesterday there was a new arrival at the feeders -- a red-bellied woodpecker, who found the tube feeders to be like trees with convenient, pre-drilled holes filled with yummy seeds. It hung around long enough for me to take several pictures. Here's one:

The sparrow (I think) on the neighboring feeder looks like he's saying, "Hey, who invited you?"

OTOH, the downy woodpeckers are frequent visitors.... (not that I ever get a picture of either one of them either, as I'm usually in the kitchen, and when I move away from the window to get the camera they fly off.)
