Morning (Foreign) Bird Pic

This one's from France, and anyone who has read IMMORTAL MUSE (and if you haven't... *why not*?) should recognize the person in the image. Denise and I were walking down the Jardin des Tuileries in Paris, and we came across this white-haired old gentleman sitting near the Louvre. There were clouds of sparrows all around his hands as he fed the birds. I took several pictures of him, and I knew one day that I'd use him in a piece of fiction. And I did, though it would be several years later.

I wonder if he still sits there?
