One final UK picture, taken from Tower Bridge looking back toward the Tower of London (that's my good friend Andrew Miller off to the side snapping a picture of the other side of the bridge). What's interesting to me is the mixture of new architecture against very old architecture. Here, you can see the "Walkie-Talkie" (the curved building to the left side -- that's the building whose glass front focused the rays of the sun on the ground and melted parts of a Jaguar sports car parked on the street below). The tall building to the right is the Leadenhall Building, affectionately nicknamed "the Cheesegrater," and to its right you can see 30 St. Mary Axe, or "the Gherkin", another of the iconic London buildings.
Finally, at the right, you get the golden-tan stones of the Tower of London, some of which dates back to the 11th century.
