It's been quite a year for George: the HBO series, being named on of Time's "100 Most Influential People", and as an indication of how he's in the public awareness, he's now a CNN headline.
In the Parade supplement in many newspapers today, Anderson Cooper also noted that he's reading Game of Thrones this summer since he has been enjoying the HBO series so much.
"CNN spoke with the author, George R.R. Martin, at his New Mexico ranch."
George has a ranch? here in northern New Mexico? Where's my pony? He's always known I've wanted to open a home for elderly elephants, but needed a ranch as big as the King spread to do it right! Maybe this is my 'secret' b-dy present he's been hinting at for a couple of weeks......
yeah, this is all cool if more than bit overwhelming at times....
