Good reviews generally make a writer also feel good. But sometimes -- usually because of the source of the review -- a good review leaves you exceptionally pleased.
This review of THE WOODS did that... because David is an exceptional writer himself, because he's someone whose opinion I've always valued, and because I know that if he hadn't liked the book, he would just have shrugged and said nothing.
