Huh? What was that? Did the alarm go off ALREADY?

Guess it did. *yawn* Well, we just woke up from our long holiday sleep and realized it was 2010 and we're scheduled to play again. We figure that by Friday, you'll be deathly tired of the cold and the White Death, the Kroger store shelves will be bare so you have no reason to go there, and our intrepid maintenance crews will have scraped the streets clean all the way to Silverton.

Face it, it's time for you to burrow out of the house and your hibernation, return to your regular life, and get yourself to a place where you can eat someone else's incredible food, drink someone else's fantastic drinks, and listen to some fine music. OR -- you could come to the SILVERTON CAFE (7201 Montgomery Road) and listen to the (old) men of TOAST! play their very first gig of the new year! That's right, it's been an entire year since you last heard them, so it's about time you shook off the winter doldrums and got yourself back into the world.

By way of enticement, we'll whisper that one of the Toasters got a brand new instrument over the holidays and is ready to regale you with its dulcet tones. No, we're not going to tell you who or what: you'l never know unless you come out this Friday, and hey, honestly how often do you actually hear dulcet tones from Toast!?

TOAST! is Tom "Dulcet" Vogel, Steve "Dulcet " Leigh, Rick "Dulcet" Hagee, Steve "Dulcet" Gallant, Tom "Dulcet" Steele, Dale "Dulcet" Lewis and, for at least 4 more weeks, Mike "Dulcet" Russell. But there's never a "dull set" with TOAST!

So get your warm coat and mittens on, remember to wear a hat, and come to Silverton Cafe this Friday night! We'll see you there!
