... and the end of the draft of A MAGIC OF DAWN is visible! I have 3 1/2 scenes left to write, and I know what each one needs to do and what needs to happen. I hope to actually reach those two magic words -- THE END -- tomorrow if all goes well, probably somewhere close to 173,000 words.
At that point, I need to go back over the last 30,000 words to revise and polish and get them into the same shape as the rest of the manuscript, which has already had its revision pass. (My bet? That's going to add a few thousand additional words...) And then it's off to Sheila and my first readers.
