Iran Is A Space Power

Love the way "The Hand Inside The Sock Puppet President" is making thinly-veiled threats to Iran. But my own best bet is that it will be Israel who tips the balance in this increasingly ugly situation. My bet is that Israel's "cross this line and we'll attack" point for Iran is even closer than ours. In fact, the latest news that Iran has launched a rocket into space will certainly have moved Iran much closer to that point.

I would not be surprised to see Israel launch an air strike against Iranian facilities (as they did with Saddam years ago). That would be a tougher proposition than it was with Saddam, however, with far less chance of success. Nor would I be happy to see this, as it would be the opening shot of full regional war which we could not escape.

I think that's the most likely scenario, but gee, I hope I'm wrong...

It's kinda scarry though. They must be close the way they've gotten more bold in their rhetoric compared to, say, last year at this time.
